Glass beads are the main reflective material of reflective road marking paint. It is folded back and refracted back to the driver's eyes through the surface of the glass bead, so that the driver can see the road ahead clearly without street lights at night.
Glass beads are divided into ordinary glass beads and high refractive index glass beads. Ordinary glass beads are mainly used in road coatings, and the refractive index is greater than or equal to 1.5. High refractive index glass beads are mainly used in reflective woven fabrics, such as traffic police clothes, highway signs, etc. The refractive index is between 1.9-2.4
